| 主題:900 million farmer's "health" net 立場: Student was very confused and lost ever since i emmigrated from Taiwan to USA( when student was 16 years old). After years of living an absurd life, student was fortunate to read 智慧之旅 2.5 years ago, and found the answer student was searching for--why "self" does not exist, and why human should become selfless. When student finished the chapter about Teacher's "enlightenment", student cried for an hour because of this epiphany and ecstasy. Therefore, student had vowed to pursue 道. If student is not so illiterate in computer and is now studying in the field of medicine, student would have follow Teacher's work in Chinese culture. 一直想留言，但 student don't know how to type Chinese (i only know how to cut and paste). Now, Student finally found enough courage to thank Teacher (and all your students working hard for Chinese culture), and to express my appreciation. Thank you for opening a door to guide all the lost youths. 目標: Now, student enjoys a relatively poor materialistic living condition( many middle class American think i live like a homeless although i do live like an ancient king). Since student's experience of "crying in ecstasy", student has been studying Chinese philosophy (especially Buddhist teaching)as much as possible. About a year ago student has found a lifetime goal for myself (student has proved that even a 朽材 like me can find a purpose in life!!). After i finish my medical school training and payback what i owe American society, which may be ten years from now---i hope to work as a doctor in Chinese countryside for poor people, and share Chinese philosophy with them. For now, my 短程目標 is to sharpen my skill in medicine (too bad i cannot learn Chinese medicine in western medical school), and to improve my understanding of Chinese philosophy. English emphasizes on self so "i" needs to be capitalized, and many grammars exist only for writing as a "first person". Also, English has "he and she", while Chinese does not discriminate "she from he".) Therefore, student was very exited to learn that the "personal communicator" (of 900 million farmer's net) has the ability to evaluate farmer's personal health. My question is: after "personal communicator" detects a person's sickness, what can he/she do? Can the communicator tell farmers what to do, or which clinic he/she should go? Does Chinese government have a plan to establish any type of healthcare system, such as 900 million farmer's "health net", or someone is planning such a system? Student visited China once before, and worries about poor people's lack of healthcare. (In English, not rich = poor = bad. Therefore, poor people ( in a way) are bad people. In reality, most of poor Americans are criminals) |

Therefore, student don't covet to be at 老師's side right now. 但求 a 機緣 to serve for 農民健康網 after 還了在美的債. Student understand 老師 cannot and should not give student such a position in 農民健康網; therefore, student 信因果 and will strive to earn such a position myself. The purpose of this personal statement is to 名志於師,名志於天. Please forgive student's "monster" personal statement in English. ----- Student victor weng was born in Taiwan, corrupted by American society, trained in biochemistry/medicine, civilized by Chinese philosophy, and awakened by 朱老. As a teenager living in California, I made others suffer, and lost myself in lust and selfishness. As a college student, victor learned to 孝養父母心，奉事師長道. As a medical student studying in Texas, vw 發願去己私, 醫窮農, 長人慧. Now, at age 28, student is not only striving to eliminate laziness, lust, and 私, but also endeavoring to master self-control, medicine, and Chinese philosophy. | 主題: Student 收穫 a lot, and really appreciate teacher's 開示. Now student has goals for the next 5,10,15,20 years, and (maybe) student's next life. i will remember 師言 in heart, and steadily/ gradually progress through them one by one. Now is the time for student to 退至後院,and LEARN to 破柴踏碓( student still 不夠資格舂米!). One question about teacher's word: 訓練（即修行）的要點，在於建立「自信」」，自己是無法欺騙自我意識的！只有人具有了自信，相信意識的判斷（例如甲相信自己，所以一旦做錯了事，相信自己能改，所有可能發生的後果也都勢在必然，心上必然是坦蕩蕩的．但不表示說甲不承認錯誤，或不知錯誤的後果），人才能不受自己心理控制。要參考過去，面對未來，才能將「自我意識」的潛能，發揮到最高。 Please tell student if this is wrong. 立場: 學人 目標: 悟道 建立自信 in a way is 歸依自心三寶(覺。邪迷不生。少欲知足。能離財色。正。念念無邪見。即無人我貢高貪愛執著。淨。一切塵勞愛欲境界。自性皆不染著 )。The right way to do this is 無住生心. Therefore, 修行 is to realize and understand 此三身佛。從自性生。不從外得。Once we 信自心三寶, we can 相信 our 意識的判斷 and 無住生心(It sounds like chicken and egg problem). |
